Manga review: Boku no Hero Academia.

The first chapter of Boku no Hero manga was released to the public in 2015. To the date, It currently has 320 chapters and 30 physical volumes. Belongs to one of the biggest anime franchises in Japan, the "Shonen Jump" company.

After six years of continuity on the air (and the occasional hiatus), I finally decided to read it.

The art of the manga is kind of irregular, at times it’s extremely expressive, detailed, and capable of transmitting a lot of emotions (an important characteristic within a manga). But other times it becomes a bit vague, the fight are usually good, except that in some cases certain movements become difficult to understand. However, I’ll take the best part of this, good panels accompanied by a good context made this manga addictive to me.
It's simple, but it's great. Action and reaction: every action has a consequence, and you must adapt to these.

This manga as a product has something that makes it extremely attractive, and the anime version favors this quality.
The evolution of Izuku Midoriya (the protagonist) as a person and as a hero is something that should be highlighted. Midoriya's generation watched the fall of the most respected hero in the history and with this, they saw society break down.
The society and the system of heroes make a part of the population totally segregated, and there is when we can understand the actions of the villains. A part of me said "Yes Tomura, destroy everything, the heroes have taken all from you.", But on the other hand, I felt that there were more options, I needed someone to come and help him. Someone had to save him. Midoriya and Shigaraki are two sides of the same coin, they work on their powers at the same time, but they had opposite objectives: the light and the darkness, hope and the absence of it. The final battle was inevitable.

The current arc of this manga is about that, the battle that we have been waiting for so long. And there we enter situations of pain, despair, anxiety, fear, and terrible sadness. One of the many things that I have always appreciated is when they dare to kill characters, Horikoshi, the author of the manga, did it.

Despite killing heroes and ordinary people in droves, the death of a villain was the most painful and controversial in the manga.
Twice's death and Dabi's revelation were responsible for making everything worse. When people saw how a villain begged for his life while a hero had no more compassion, a brutal imbalance was created. The society in the current manga don’t believes in heroes anymore, they despise them, there is no longer hope, there is no balance, and everything that comes is a question for everyone.
Horikoshi has referred to the manga's remaining time in some occasions before, he says sometimes a year, sometimes two. We only have to wait, arm ourselves with courage, and be strong for what is coming, so far I can only say thank you.
